Calling all authors, artists, and enigmas!

If you have not heard of Warren Wilson’s literary and arts magazine, Peal is a student-run magazine published by the Creative Writing department. This is an opportunity for students to contribute to Warren Wilson’s culture and gives many artists a possibility for a first publication—to leave your footprint on our College while putting your foot into the world of publication.

WE WILL BE PUBLISHING FOR SPRING 2022.

Peal is now accepting submissions for the Spring 2022 edition! We want to publish YOU! We accept submissions of original poetry, fiction, drama, creative nonfiction, and visual arts from Warren Wilson students, staff, and faculty. We accept anonymous submissions and pen name submissions.

We are a new board of editors, so those who have submitted and been rejected in the past may feel free to submit the same piece or new pieces this year!

Instructions: Submit up to six works (3 Written and/or 3 Visual) in the following forms (you may submit all at once). Since we are such a small community, we review submissions anonymously, but if you feel that your identity is important and relevant to your work, please relay that in the optional box at the bottom of the forms. The name and bio you enter into the forms will be automatically hidden from editors.

SUBMISSION DEADLINE: March 14th, 11:59 PM.

We look forward to reviewing your submissions! Email us if you have any questions about the submission process or Peal in general.

Best,

Peal Crew
